Look at it this way, it's more expensive than {use indirect competitor}, but it's cheaper than {Alternative way to frame your product}.

Before

After

1. Attention grabber ⇝ “Look at it this way”

2. Use indirect competitor as price anchor “It’s more expensive than a Neflix subscription”

3. Your promise⇝ “But it’s cheaper than a trip to Japan.”

Use this formula carefully. Use it ONLY if you want to increase the "perceived" value of your product without changing its price nor the product.

Always remember that people love to compare when valuing things. And showing them an anchor price helps them do that, quickly. If you don’t show them an anchor, their brains will look for one anyway.
